I'm going to Get Fit and Feel Epic!
Last year I conquered my fears, joined a gym and faced just how incredibly fit post children I had become. All was going well, and then one thing after another happened and I didn't make it to the gym for a few months, yes months. I'll be honest, I've missed it, and I'm eager to return. I'm even more eager as Mr G and I have decided we are going to set our wedding date..for this year! Oh, and I want to be able to wear a bikini on the beach once more! Mr G nearly choked on his tea when I told him about my desire to wear a bikini, but agreed with some hard work I could achieve a bikini fit body..one day anyway!
I need all the help I can get, I'm over weight and under fit, to achieve even part of my plan I need to focus..(and put down the left over Christmas chocolates..) I have limited time to spend exercising during the week, so I will add extra exercise into my daily routine, by ensuring I park further away from school and walking the extra distance to collect Boo (we have to drive to the place the school is in as we live in the midst of nowhere!). I will work swimming back into the diary once a week with the boys, and twice a week on my own. Once I've got used to this routine (and got rid of my lingering cough/cold) I will add in a gym session or two each week, to try to increase my aerobic ability, or in simple terms start running again!
I will allow myself the chance to have a treat on a Saturday, whether it be a skinny latte from my favourite coffee shop or a little bar of chocolate! I'm not going to ban myself from having things like I normally do on a diet, as I think it then means I crave them more? I will reward my success and try not to feel down when I don't achieve as much as I want in a week. Most of all though, I will start photographing myself each week (not naked..that'd be frightening!) so I can see my mum tum hopefully disappearing!
This is my entry for the ‘Get Fit Feel Epic’ competition hosted by Kate on Thin Ice.
